Site work for a road / highway in West Liberty, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested for the 6th Street Relocation & UG Conversion Installation Contract. The scope includes the relocation and underground conversion work on 6th Street for the City of West Liberty, Iowa. Bidders must submit a certified check, bank draft, bid bond, government bonds, or cash in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of their bid. Bids must be clearly marked to identify the bid package and reference specification 3927 K001. The successful bidder will be required to register as a bidder for the project and provide duplicate executed documents that include a Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Certified Check or Money Order, and any other documents as required by the specifications. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening without the Utilitys consent. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid most advantageous to the Utility. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered.
