Bids are invited for Water System Improvements for the City of New London. Bidding documents including plans, technical specifications, and addenda may only be obtained through www.klingnerplanroom.com. All prime bidders or subcontractors must register at the website to receive documents and notices and be listed as plan holders. A certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. All bidders must comply with 29 CFR Part 30 and 42 U.S.C. Subchapter VI Equal Employment Opportunities and ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid. The project is financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund, Water and Wastewater Loan Revolving Fund, and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri. Bidders must also comply with Executive Order 12549 (Debarment and Suspension) and submit documentation of compliance with MBE/WBE requirements. The City of New London reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 90 days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications.
