Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Napa, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a road / highway.
The bid security must guarantee that, within ten days after issuance of the Notice of Award, the bidder will: execute and submit the enclosed Contract for the bid price; submit payment and performance bonds for 100% of the maximum Contract Price; and submit the insurance certificates and endorsements and any other submittals, if any, required by the Contract Documents or the Notice of Award. A Bid Form may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid opening, or as otherwise extended by mutual written agreement between the City, bidder, and the bidder's bid bond surety (if necessary), without forfeiture of the bid security, except as authorized for material error under Public Contract Code 5100 et seq. Each bid must be guaranteed by bid security of ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the City, or bid bond using the form included in the Bid Submittal section and executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California. License. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): C10 - Electrical Contractor. DIR Registration. City may not accept a Bid from or enter into the Contract with a bidder, without proof that the bidder is registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5, subject to limited legal exceptions.
