Completed plans call for the construction of a 228,000-square-foot, 10-story above grade, 320-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.

Construction Managers are invited to submit information indicating their interest and ability to perform construction management services for the proposed Schlegel Villages Vaughan Long-Term Care Home. The project consists of a new 10 storey building accommodating 320 beds with common areas on the Ground Floor and support areas in the Basement. The total area of the project is approximately 228,000 square feet. Construction will consist of precast concrete planks on concrete bearing walls with masonry veneer. Subject to Provincial and Municipal approvals, work on site is planned to start in September 2026. Information is to be submitted using CCDC Document 11 - 2019 identifying major project experience in Ontario including long-term care and retirement projects for which Construction Management services have been provided. Please refrain from submitting promotional materials not relevant to this prequalification, or statistics for projects outside Ontario. Construction Managers will be evaluated according to their relevant experience, capacity, proximity, and quality of services, based on reviewing submissions and contacting references provided. Provide the Owner and the Consultant references who can confirm recent performance based on these criteria. Schlegel Villages has sole discretion over the selection of those firms, if any, who will be contacted to submit detailed proposals.
