Reference Number 0000425315 Provide geotechnical support such as collecting soil samples for proctor tests to accompany soil compaction testing for earthwork operations and performing special inspections for structural concrete construction on water, wastewater, recycled water, and stormwater infrastructure projects. Services will be authorized on a task-order basis, depending on the consultant's specialty and availability, and the City's project needs. Work under this contract may include, but is not limited to pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facility projects; utility infrastructure rehabilitation projects; in-situ soil assessments; and construction-phase geotechnical support. Consultants may be tasked with providing the City with geotechnical expert, evidence-based opinions on soil, rock and foundational matters to help resolve construction-related issues.
