Site work and paving for a civil project in Edmundston, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project involves the replacement of an existing concrete Arch Structure (Asset T715) on Rue Saint-François (Route 120), Edmundston, NB. The existing Arch Structure was damaged during the June 2023 heavy rainfall and flooding event. Additionally, the existing lift station was also damaged and removed due to downstream embankment failure. The new Arch Structure will restore roadway connectivity, improve hydraulic capacity, and enhance resilience to extreme rainfall and debris loading. Generally, the work includes, but is not limited to: (a) Construction of a paved Temporary 2-Lane Detour Road as shown conceptually in Figure 3, including clearing, excavation, fill placement, paving, traffic controls, and signage. (b) Excavation and removal of the old Arch Structure, unsuitable foundation materials, debris, and salvaging the 2100mm downstream sections. (c) Installation of the new Arch Structure (supplied by DTI) in accordance with the provided design drawings, including bedding, backfill, and associated structures (headwalls, footings).
