Renovation of a water / sewer project in Camden, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project consists of rehabilitations to the Camden County Municipal Utilities Authority's Aeration Tanks and Plant Water System. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders are required to comply with state and federal regulations including the New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act, and the project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement binding on all contractors and subcontractors performing on-site project work. Awards will be made only to socially and economically disadvantaged business concerns certified by specified agencies. The successful bidder and subcontractors must hold or obtain all required licenses. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent of the bidder's bid price, not to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or bid bond issued by a qualifying surety. The contract is subject to specific SED utilization requirements and fair and open process rules. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor informalities, and accept the lowest responsible and responsive bid.
