The Capital Area Career Center will receive sealed bids for Exterior Concrete Deck Renovations 2026 at the Capital Area Career Center, Springfield, Illinois. Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope to the CACC Business Office prior to 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on June 11, 2026. Bids must include a properly completed Proposal Form in duplicate, a bid deposit equal to 5% of the Base Bid, and must comply with not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. All work is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders must submit a notarized certification that the Contractor is not barred from bidding due to violations of specified Illinois statutes. During the contract, the Contractor must not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, gender, age, or any other prohibited basis and must comply with applicable laws. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Successful bidders must provide Surety Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract cost, within ten days after acceptance. The Capital Area Career Center reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularity in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after bid opening without the owner's written consent.
