Charlotte County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional Construction Manager at Risk services as part of a design and construction team for the Public Works Landfill Maintenance Building project. Proposers may submit written or emailed inquiries regarding this RFP to Purchasing, 18500 Murdock Circle, Suite 344, Port Charlotte, Florida 33948 or Rhiannon.Mills@charlottecountyfl.gov. The County will respond to written or emailed inquiries received at least five (5) calendar days prior to the RFP due date. A. This project will include the construction of a single hurricane rated facility located at 29751 Zemel Road, Punta Gorda, Florida. B. The new building will replace the existing separate Maintenance (1,864 SF) and Operations (3,240 SF) buildings C. The current operations facility and three (3) bay maintenance building have reached their end of life and no longer adequately support current staffing levels or operational needs D. The final square footage of the replacement building will be determined during the design phase.
