Site work for a water / sewer project in Scarsdale, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals are requested for the replacement of a municipal watermain and related improvements along Carthage Road in the Village of Scarsdale. Each bidder must include with their bid a certified check, bid bond, or cash amounting to at least 5% of the total bid. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract within ten days after notice of award, the deposit will be forfeited as liquidated damages. Bid deposits or bonds for the successful bidder will be held until contract execution and required insurance and bonds are accepted. Deposits or bonds for unsuccessful bidders will be held until contract execution by the successful bidder or all bids are rejected. The right to reject any or all proposals or waive any informalities is reserved as deemed advisable in the interest of the Village.
