Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Chicora, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a 1,415-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; 2,489-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; 810-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; and 9,189-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed proposals are requested for the following work: - 9,189 S.Y. of single asphalt seal coat, in place - 1,415 S.Y. of asphalt fog seal for asphalt seal coats - 2,489 S.Y. of double asphalt seal coat, in place - 810 S.Y. of single asphalt seal coat, in place for a parking lot - 810 S.Y. of asphalt fog seal for asphalt seal coats for a parking lot Liquidated damages are set at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the municipality. Bids for third class cities must include a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality. For other types of municipalities, this is at their discretion. A performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount is required from the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
