Site work for a recreation facility in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for an amusement/recreational facility.
The Feasibility Study involves preparing a preliminary infrastructure plan and business case for the Sauble Park Tourism Hub located near the corner of Charles St. and Bruce Road 13. The study will include a geotechnical investigation of the site, topographic survey, and archaeological assessment. The consultant will present a conceptual site plan demonstrating the feasibility of the Tourism Hub, identifying site constraints affecting building placement, site layout, site servicing, proposed activity programs, and providing drawings and sketches. The business case should demonstrate economic viability by estimating capital and operating costs, financial benefits to the community and members through employment and business opportunities, and identify partnership opportunities with businesses and Indigenous organizations within Bruce County and surrounding areas. The consultant will prepare a Background and Needs Report, Draft Feasibility Study, and Final Feasibility Study, and will hold two Open Houses with the community and leadership to solicit input and incorporate feedback.
