BC Hydro is undertaking the La Joie Dam Improvements project (the "Project"), the objective of which is to upgrade the dam and appurtenant structures to be both statically and seismically safe. TIMELINE: Request for Information for the project is underway. BC Hydro is seeking to determine industry interest, experience, capacity, and potential approaches to delivering the scope of work as further described in this RFI. The purpose of this RFI is to: (a) determine the level of interest and capacity in the market to perform the scope of work as described in the RFI; (b) engage with potential proponents to help inform BC Hydro's requirements for a potential future procurement; (c) seek feedback on BC Hydro's commercial requirements and Project's technical details and specifications; (d) obtain information to guide BC Hydro in further developing the technical and commercial requirements and specifications pertaining to the project alternatives. *This RFI is not a pre-qualification or a request for quotations, tenders or proposals. Responses received will not be evaluated or ranked, nor used to screen, pre-qualify or select respondents for a RFx or any other potential subsequent solicitation. This RFI is being issued for information sharing and gathering purposes only.
