The work includes installation of approximately 485 linear feet of 6-inch and 10-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP), replacement of approximately 425 linear feet of 6-inch VCP, abandonment of approximately 1,857 linear feet of 10-inch VCP, installation of approximately 305 linear feet of 6-inch cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner and performing necessary point repairs, reconnecting and reinstating active sanitary sewer laterals, replacement of 5 existing manholes, construction of 4 new manholes, rehabilitation of 5 manholes, and abandonment of an existing manhole. All proposals must be delivered via Biddingo prior to the specified deadline. Bidders must check Biddingo regularly for updates. Questions must be submitted to the City via Biddingo only. All bidders must read and understand the relevant sections of the Consolidated Open Government and Ethics Provisions and the Wage Theft Prevention Policy. Bidders are required to have a valid California contractor’s license, classification A, and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Compliance with California prevailing wage requirements is mandatory. The project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement. Each bid must include an electronic PDF copy of a bidder’s bond for not less than 10% of the bid amount, and bond requirements must be fulfilled as specified. Requirements related to in-use off-road diesel-fueled vehicles must be met. Bidders are responsible for determining conflicts of interest. Contractors may substitute securities in lieu of retention according to Public Contracts Code Section 22300.
