Demolition for a municipal facility in Bloomington, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.

The intent of this project is demolition and removal ofthe clock tower structure located on the Northeast corner of 98th street and Lyndale Ave. down to-approximately 4- 6 above the ground, leaving the adjacent walls intact. Scope of Work or Services The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, traffic control, safety measures, disposal services, and obtain necessary permits to complete the demolition work. The scope of work shall include, but is not limited to Mobilization and site preparation. Communication and Coordination with Oxboro Square for project and site access. Traffic control and pedestrian safety measures in accordance with City and State requirements. Utility verification and coordination (locating and protecting underground and overhead utilities). Safe disconnection of any electrical components associated with the clock tower. Removal of o Clock faces and associated mechanical/electrical systems o Decorative architectural elements o Structural framing above the designated pillar termination point o Contractor also responsible for preserving the clock top and transporting it to Western Maintenance at 10500 Hampshire Ave S Demolition of the tower structure down to approximately 4'-6' above ground leaving adjacent walls intact. Proper disposal and recycling of all demolition materials in accordance with applicable environmental regulations. Site restoration to a safe and clean condition upon completion. Protection of adjacent sidewalks, landscaping, pavement, and nearby infrastructure. Decorative architectural elements to be salvaged are brass plaques and clock structure in coordination with city staff. Contractor also responsible for preserving the clock top and transporting it to Western Maintenance at 10500 Hampshire Ave S Contractor may also be requested to set aside salvaged bricks for City of Bloomington Reuse. This will be confirmed via contracting phase. Bid submissions are requested for the Clock Tower Demolition. Bidders are instructed to upload a formal quote via the designated online platform, Bids and Tenders. Submission is to be done online only. Bids must follow the instructions noted for registration and document access, ensuring compliance with all requirements for quote submission.
