Renovation of a multi-residential development in Burien, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 35,140-square-foot multi-residential development.

Yardley Arms is a three-story apartment community located in the City of Burien. Constructed in the 1970s, the building provides housing for seniors and disabled individuals aged 62 and older. The property contains a total of 67 dwelling units, all of which are one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments. The Contractor is responsible for pricing the project, which must cover all labor, materials, and equipment. This includes mobilization costs, scaffolding, and the removal and disposal of existing windows, The scope of work involves the removal and replacement of all windows in the three-story building as indicated on the plan set. It is the Contractor's responsibility to verify the actual window sizes before placing any orders, as the drawings provided are for reference only and should not be scaled. Payable to: King County Housing Authority Process: Bid Bond or Certified Check will be returned to the Unsuccessful Bidders within Ten (10) Days after the Contract Award. Provide with your bid proposal, a written statement from the contractor's bonding agent of the contractor's ability and capacity for providing a one hundred (100%) percent Performance and Payment Bond for the project. The statement shall be made on the official letterhead of the bonding company and signed by an authorized agent of the bonding company. The King County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the written consent of KCHA. The King County Housing Authority also reserves the right to reject all bids, for any reason, prior to Contract Execution. The King County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
