Site work and renovation of a civil project in San Diego, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of lift station improvements for the Cadena and La Masa lift stations. Work includes mobilization, traffic control and barricades, demolition and proper disposal of existing chain-link fencing and lift station components, installation of new 6-foot chain-link fencing with barbed wire and double gates, concrete slab construction, ductile iron piping improvements, pump replacement, control panel upgrades, generator installation with automatic transfer switches, and bypass pumping as needed. The project also includes storm water pollution prevention measures such as silt fencing, trash and debris containment, and concrete truck washout pits. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Duval County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The Duval County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The deposit will be refunded if the documents and drawings are returned in good condition within 10 days following the bid opening.
