Description

Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Clemson, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

The City of Clemson is seeking proposals from qualified firms or contractors for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the enhancement of Abernathy Park. The project involves a complete renovation of the existing park infrastructure from College Ave. through U.S. Hwy 123 (Tiger Blvd.), including areas within Lake Hartwell. Major components include demolition of the existing park (including features over lake limits and non-native vegetation), grading, pile setting, installation of permanent elevation boardwalk and structures, electrical and mechanical improvements, plumbing, playground equipment, installation of site furniture and lighting, and site work such as concrete placement, asphalt placement, landscaping, and parking. The project also requires coordination with a new municipal sewer trunk line and pump station project, as well as several adjacent private projects. Interested firms must prepare and submit a proposal in accordance with the provided requirements.
