General contractors are invited to express their interest in providing all labour, materials, and equipment necessary to build a three-story accommodations building at 19 Wing Comox, including site preparation, site services, and all required structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural work required to deliver a completed building, ready for occupancy. The contractor must include Indigenous businesses (or eligible joint ventures) as subcontractors or suppliers to this project. Technical plans and specifications will be provided in the Tender Phase. Bid security will be required during the Tender Phase. Tenderers submitting interest as a joint venture will be required to indicate this in the Electronic Submission System and provide relevant joint venture details. Responses to this RFEOI must be submitted through the Electronic Bidding System; responses sent by fax, mail or email will not be accepted. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. The Rough Order Magnitude estimate for this Contract is $19 Million. DCC will proceed with the Tender Phase around June 2026. The works shall reach substantial completion no later than 660 calendar days following the notification of contract award and shall be completed no later than 28 calendar days after the substantial completion date.
