Renovation of a mixed-use development in Nashville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and testing of the Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) at the Tennessee Valley HealthCare System, Nashville Campus. The work includes replacement, installation, and testing of new VFDs and associated components for various units, including exhaust fans, return fans, hot water pumps, and air handling units. All work must maintain continuous operation of the healthcare facility, preserve indoor air quality, and comply with applicable healthcare codes and standards. The contractor is responsible for electrical, fire alarm, low voltage controls, programming, and integration into the Building Automation System (BAS), including updating sequences of operation and integrating controls with the fire alarm system as needed. The contractor must capture and record parameters of existing VFDs, incorporate them into new VFDs, and perform start-up and commissioning procedures for each installed and programmed VFD. Detailed written reports of work performed are required within ten working days of contract completion. Contractors must be experienced, certified, and qualified electricians with a technical background in VFD replacement, inspection, and testing, particularly in healthcare, industrial, educational, or commercial environments.
