CR#:2135506 Stony Brook University intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to State Finance Law 163(6) and NYS Education Law 355(5)(a) to purchase upgraded parts and modifications to existing control system for the SBU SOMAS Chiller system in accordance with the attached specifications for Stony Brook University's South Hampton Campus to the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Southampton, NY 11968 services, as herein described delivered NET FOB Destination. This Procurement opportunity is limited to New York State Certified Businesses pursuant to Article 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law. SOW: Provide modifications and upgrades to the existing control system for the SBU Somas Chiller Controls project. Included: o Update existing control panel to accommodate new I/O points associated with the chiller system upgrades o Modify PLC programming and operator interface (HMI/graphics) to reflect new chillers and associated instrumentation o Integration of new field devices into the control system o Supply of valves, sensors, and specialty fittings to be installed by others (piping contractor) o Supply of low-voltage control cabling for valves and sensors o Replacement of two (2) existing VFDs and associated reactors within the VFD panel, sized appropriately for the new eUluent pumps o Reuse of one (1) existing VFD for the pump supplying water from the recirculation tank o Start-up, commissioning, and operator training All control panel modifications and equipment will be tested prior to commissioning.
