Provide annual certified testing of thirty-three campus-wide backflow prevention assemblies at the Sepulveda campus to ensure potable water system protection and compliance with local water purveyor requirements and applicable codes. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to test Reduced Pressure Principle Assemblies, Double Check Valve Assemblies, Pressure Vacuum Breaker Assemblies, and Spill-Resistant Vacuum Breaker units in accordance with Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, City of Los Angeles, and County Health procedures. Verify and document device type, size, serial number, location, and test values; complete all required VA backflow test forms; affix updated test tags indicating test date, tester certification number, and pass/fail status; and immediately notify the program point of contact of any failed devices. Submit all completed test reports to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, City of Los Angeles, and County Public Health when required, and provide copies to the VA. Provide a summary report listing all devices, locations, and test results, along with written repair recommendations and quotes for any failures outside the scope. Complete authorized repairs and retesting within the period of performance when directed by the Contracting Officer. Comply with VA safety, infection control, security, badging, and work-hour requirements, and maintain current tester certification and calibrated test equipment.
