Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Littleton, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

This project will rebuild the existing traffic signals on the Chatfield Avenue corridor including the intersection with Shaffer Parkway, Continental Divide Road, and Sangre De Cristo Road. The span wire infrastructure will be replaced with mast arms and poles that meet current standards and wind loadings. This project will provide more robust traffic signal infrastructure so that the signalized intersection can continue to operate with structural integrity. This project will also include pedestrian improvements to be Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG) compliant. Design in 2026 with construction in 2027-28.
