Addition to an elderly care / assisted living facility in Snellville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,270-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility.
The project involves the construction of an addition or expansion, approximately 2,270 square feet, to the existing Gwinnett County Centerville Senior Center. The work includes providing additional activity and storage space at the specified location. The County will obtain all rights of way and easements required for the project unless otherwise specified. Bidders are to submit sealed bids marked with the Bid Number, name of Bidder, date, and time of opening. One unbound original and two copies should be submitted. In the case of corporations not chartered in Georgia, proper certification authorizing business in Georgia must be included. The contractor agrees to complete the awarded contract within the allowable calendar days for completion from the date of Notice to Proceed, with a penalty of $500 per day for delays. Bids must include a 5% bid bond. The successful contractor must provide a 100% payment bond, 100% performance bond, and an insurance certificate as specified. All bonds and submissions must use forms provided by Gwinnett County. Award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bid, but Gwinnett County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to make awards in its best interest. Bids may be split or awarded in entirety.
