Sealed proposals are invited for the Sommerville Park Improvements, including the construction and installation of concrete curb, patio areas, ADA-compliant pathways, curb ramps, and curb cuts, as well as an accessible parking area with associated line striping and ADA signage. All bid documents, construction plans, and specifications can be accessed online via the PennBid Program. Bidders must submit with their proposals security in the form of a certified check or bid bond not less than 10% of the total bid, payable to Brookhaven Borough. The project is assisted with federal funds and is subject to various requirements, such as equal opportunity provisions, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Build America Buy America Act, Section 3 Final rule threshold requirements for contracts over $200,000 in HUD funds, and the submission of payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Question Deadline 06/11/2026 at 2:00 PM ET Award is subject to final approval.
