Site work for a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of exploratory excavation work to locate, expose, and backfill water service lines at two locations per address: one excavation between the water main and stop box within the public right-of-way, and one excavation between the stop box and meter within the right-of-way. The work will be performed in accordance with the project specifications and appendices. A minimum of 100 addresses, totaling 200 exploratory excavations, will be completed under this contract. The contractor may be directed to complete additional or alternate locations from the provided address list if site conditions, pavement removal requirements, utility conflicts, or other unsuitable conditions prevent completion at originally identified locations. Bidding documents are available exclusively through QuestCDN.com. Contractors must register with QuestCDN to download the documents and to be recognized as plan holders. Becoming a plan holder is recommended, as plan holders automatically receive addenda notifications and bid updates.
