A Job Order Contract (JOC) for Electrical (C-10 License) Construction is to be performed in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Alameda Counties. The contract is indefinite quantity with a maximum amount of $5,000,000.00, and work is accomplished by issuing Task Orders during a two-year term. Contractors bid an adjustment factor to pre-set unit prices. The City may award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. A Local Business Enterprise (LBE) subcontracting requirement of 14% must be met with CMD certified San Francisco Micro and/or Small-LBEs. Subcontracting opportunities may include, but are not limited to: Cathodic Protection; Electrical; Electrical Equipment & Supplies; General Building Construction; General Engineering Construction; Lenel Security Systems Components; Lenel Systems Integrator; Lighting Retrofit; Low Voltage Systems Contractor; and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Systems Integrator. Specialized scopes of work anticipated include Lenel systems integration requiring Lenel certification and certification to program PLC systems. All bidders must submit documented Good Faith efforts with their bids unless they exceed the subcontracting requirement by at least 35%. Failure to comply with Chapter 14B requirements may result in a bid being deemed non-responsive. Bidders are required to complete the Safety Prequalification Web Form at least three weeks prior to bid opening and must pass Safety Prequalification before their bid will be considered complete. A Class “C-10” California Contractor's License is required. The prime bidder must have completed at least three public works projects in the past ten years, each with a minimum construction value of $1,500,000. Each listed subcontractor must possess the appropriate active licenses for their scope of work.
