Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Sharon, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.
Construction of the East Gwillimbury Leaf and Yard Waste Management Facility. The objective is to provide a facility that reduces odours, prevents leachate contamination, controls stormwater, accommodates both public and commercial waste, supports environmentally responsible operations, enables efficient composting and recycling, ensures compliance with permit and regulatory requirements, and addresses long-term capacity and future waste volumes. TIMELINE: AN RFP for engineering has been issued by the owner. Updates will be made upon announcement of award. *The Consultant must retain a pre-qualified On-Site and Excess Soil Management Qualified Person under RFSQ-1941-24, and a pre-qualified security consultant under RFSQ-2356-24-24041, as subconsultants for the project. Only electronic bid submissions via the Region’s Bids and Tenders website will be accepted.
