The project involves a historic two-story school building scheduled for removal of regulated materials and subsequent demolition. Sealed bids will be accepted from qualified contractors for the Remus School Abatement & Demolition Project. Bids must be submitted with a bid security of five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, which can be in the form of a bid bond from a qualified surety, a cashier's check, or a money order payable to the Chippewa Hills School District. A sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder and school officials, and a sworn and notarized affidavit of compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, must accompany each bid. The school district reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid date. Under a separate bid category, the Owner is also seeking bids for complete building demolition and site restoration.
