The scope of work is the turnkey design, supply, and installation of a new emergency backup generator at Woodstock Fire/Rescue District Station 2, 1325 Dean Street, Woodstock, IL 60098. The primary goal is to ensure 100% operational continuity during power outages supporting emergency dispatch and radio communication systems, apparatus bay door motors, HVAC and refrigeration for medical supplies, living quarters, and station lighting. Instructions to bidders: Only qualified electrical contractors may submit proposals. The bid package must be submitted in the prescribed format, in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with the bid number and title, including the name, phone number, and email address of the contact person. The original bid package must be addressed to Fire Chief Brendan Parker and delivered to WFRD, 435 E. Judd St., Woodstock, IL 60098 by the specified date and time. Bids will not be accepted via email, fax, or after the deadline. Bidders are responsible for meeting the deadline. Bids arriving late will not be accepted. The bid must include warranty documents, insurance documents (workman comp, liability), removal of all debris from the work site (no debris to be disposed of in District dumpsters), complete manufacturer's specifications and descriptive literature, and be submitted in the same sequence as specifications. The bid price must not include any federal or state taxes. Bidders must not have been fined or convicted of price fixing, bid rigging, or collusion. Each bidder shall hold their bid price until the Board of Trustees review date.
