Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in De Soto, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work includes adding 4, A3 shoulders to both sides of Flucom Road, center and edge line rumble strips, properly grading ditches, clearing of vegetation to improve site distances, and installing new enhanced warning signs in locations deemed necessary. Driveway pipes and cross culverts will be extended and added as needed. All bidders must be on MoDOT's Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2025 Edition. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on any public works project must provide a minimum 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial. Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Jefferson County, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, with MoDOT concurrence.
