The Village of Galena is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified Design-Build teams for the 2026 Street Improvement Project. The project generally includes resurfacing and widening of various village streets and parking areas, drainage improvements, sidewalk improvements, guardrail replacement, pavement repairs, and striping. The project will also include a Stop Pad on both Columbus Street and North Walnut Street and resurfacing on Columbus Street; paved parking on N. Walnut Street with added sidewalk and relocated/replaced guardrail; Paved parking on S. Walnut with added sidewalk and relocated/replaced guardrail; full depth repairs on various Village Streets; Miller Park basketball court resurfacing, trail resurfacing and paved parking; Paved parking at the WWTP. Drainage improvements are included as necessary to ensure appropriate drainage of the Project. Striping is included in the project scope.
