Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in San Diego, California. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a five-story above grade educational facility.

The San Diego Community College District (“District” and/or “SDCCD”) intends to construct a 5-story new science building on the San Diego State University (SDSU) Mission Valley campus (“Site”) using the Design-Build Delivery (“DB”) method authorized by California Education Code sections 81700 et seq., and other applicable laws, by completing the SDSU/SDCCD 5-story Science Building joint project (“Project”). The term “Project” as used in this Request for Qualifications/Proposal (“RFQ/P”) means the design and construction of all structures, buildings, site work, landscaping, irrigation, on-site work, off- site work, demolition, and other improvements to real property of every kind and nature provided for or reasonably inferable from the Construction Documents as approved by the District at the end of the Design Phase Services for the Project involved in this procurement.
