Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hartley, Iowa. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway and sidewalk / parking lot.

Installation of a High Intensity Activated Crosswalk Beacon (HAWK), sidewalk, pavement markings, and related improvements at the intersection of Highway 18 and 6th Ave W. Work includes water utilities, electrical and controls, roadway pavement markings, traffic control devices such as signals and signage, traffic control flagging, concrete pavement, ADA curb ramps, bored conduit, stormwater improvements, signage, concrete pavement removal, and temporary erosion control. Sealed proposals for repair or improvement must be filed before the specified time. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or technicalities, and enter into contracts as deemed in the City's best interest.
