Invitation To Bid to businesses authorized in the State of Arkansas and qualified to provide the requested service(s) outlined in the bid document for Job 061776, Little Rock Kanis Park Loop (TAP-22) (S) - Kanis Park. Demo existing grade and widen and repave existing trail. Vendor Questions Deadline: June 12, 2026 @ 10:00 A.M. Any questions or inquiries regarding a bid solicitation must be submitted online. E. The vendor shall demolish the existing trail in designated areas and install approx. 2 inches thick (after compaction) of gravel base in preparation for new asphalt paving 3 inches thick. F. The vendor shall widen (both sides) of the existing trail to 14 feet wide and compacting the excavated areas and installing new 3 inch thick asphalt paving for the walking trail. G. The vendor shall repair all damaged areas of the approx. 7-foot-wide walking trail to prepare for overlaying. H. The vendor shall prepare the grade around the manhole including installing, leveling, and compacting suitable fill and providing seed and straw upon completion. I. The vendor shall prepare the site including installing, leveling, and compacting suitable fill at the designated areas of trail removal. The new hot mix asphaltic concrete shall be installed on the walking trail. The asphalt paving material shall be spread and compacted to 3 inch thickness the entire length and width of the walking trail. J. The trail shall be tapered down over 10 feet length to the width of the concrete culvert under the walking trail as it transitions across the drainage ditch. K. The trail shall be tapered down over 10 feet in length to the width of the concrete walking trail as it transitions under the I-630 interstate. L. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on the Date and Time and Location noted on the (Pre-Bid Discussion Meeting) at the beginning of this document. The Meeting is Non-Mandatory and will be held at the basketball courts at Kanis Park, 820 S. Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204, attending vendors should sign in. M. The vendor shall install a 25 foot diameter 4 inch thick concrete plaza where the trail meets the existing trail along the creek and transitions to the I-630 Interstate. N. All changes in elevation along the walking trail and as the trail connects to new and existing plazas, ADA requirements for slope shall be met. O. The vendor shall prepare the walking trail as needed and install the new asphalt paving to provide a (Max. Cross Slope of 1.5% and Max. Longitudinal Slope of 3.8%, typical with asphalt installed). See the drawing for the noted area to be asphalt paved, approximately 1,254 linear feet. P. The vendor shall visit the site, review all conditions, and verify all quantities of required materials for the completion of the project. Q. The vendor shall repair damaged portions of the trail due to the contractor's construction work to the standards and materials required for the project. R.
