Question Deadline 06/12/2026 at 3:00 PM CT All questions , inquires , or requests for clarification regarding this RFP shall be emailed to bids@winnebagocountywi.gov Winnebago County is soliciting proposals for Lead Abatement Services from qualified contractors to be provided for private residences through the Lead-Safe Homes Program administered by the State of Wisconsin. This request for Proposals (RFP) is specifically for the property at 1152 Cherry St Oshkosh, WI. The details of the work to be performed is contained within Lead - Based Paint Risk Assessment Report attached as a separate PDF document . The information in the Lead -Based Paint Risk Assessment Report and the Project Scope of Work and Cost Estimate Request (Proposal Form ), along with an onsite inspection shall be the basis to determine the scope of work for the project . All items , details of construction , services or features not specifically mentioned which are regularly furnished in order to provide the Services shall be furnished at the prices proposed and shall conform in strength , quality and workmanship to that usually provided by the practice indicated . The Contractor is responsible for taking all measurements necessary to provide a Proposal . Work must begin before the risk assessment expires . Time is of the utmost importance ; interior work relocates families while being completed and must be deemed acceptable by Winnebago County per job requirements . Evaluation Process The proposals will be evaluated on the following : A. Cost of providing the service . B. All information contained in the Proposal Form C. Other information obtained- The County reserves the right to make inquiries to determine the Contractor's qualifications to perform the work . Award will be made to the Contractor who is deemed to be in the best interest of the County . This work will be funded by the State of Wisconsin and as such the County reserves the right to cancel any award or contract or revise the scope of work due to lack of funding with adequate notice to the contractor .
