The work includes maintenance of streetlight luminaires within APS and SRP service areas, primarily consisting of Light-Emitting Diode (LED) fixtures, with a limited number of high-pressure sodium and decorative luminaires. Maintenance of luminaires installed on City traffic signal poles is not included. All work must be performed in accordance with the City of Phoenix Traffic Barricade Manual, City of Phoenix Streetlight Guidelines, METRO Light Rail Operations and Maintenance Agreement, applicable utility company specifications, and current MAG and City of Phoenix Specifications and Details. Most work will be performed under moving operations and will not require lane closures, but when required, the contractor is responsible for all traffic control, barricading, and obtaining City right-of-way permits. A qualified streetlight technician (with at least three to five years of installation and maintenance experience and appropriate IMSA certification) must be present at each job site. Items listed in the Pricing Proposal may use generic industry terminology. The contractor's responsibilities include ensuring all required supervision, appropriate training, routine inspections for competent performance, and providing verifiable company identification for all personnel. Contractors must adhere to confidentiality requirements, transition information to successor contractors if necessary, and comply with all licensing and insurance requirements as specified by the City.
