Qualified bidders will include firm quotations based on the specifications noted below. The following request is for three new boilers at North Kingstown High School. SCOPE OF WORK Currently, North Kingstown High School has 8 boilers in place for a total of 14.4 million BTUs. Three boilers totaling 5.3 million BTUs are offline. Five are aging and we are considering replacement for more cost effective and improved efficiency output. All boilers are natural gas. We are looking for a vendor to provide pricing for three options: OPTION 1 - Replace three boilers with 5.3 million BTUs in total OPTION 2 - Replace the five boilers with 9.1 million BTUs in total OPTION 3 - Replace all boilers totaling 14.4 million BTUs The North Kingstown School Department reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept any proposal, in whole or in part, which it considers to serve the best interest of the North Kingstown School Department. Any and all proposals shall be rejected if there is a reason to believe that collusion exists among the bidders. Bid quotations submitted shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days after the time set for the opening of the bids. Any proposal may be withdrawn, on a written request dispatched by the bidder in time for delivery in the normal course of business, prior to the hour fixed for the opening of proposals. During a period of ninety (90) days following the opening of proposals, no proposal may be withdrawn.
