The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) is seeking bids from licensed specialty contractors to provide Fencing Services on an as-needed basis for public housing developments, administrative buildings, and other properties throughout Los Angeles County. The Contractor is required to comply with all specific requirements set forth in the Statement of Work for these locations. Bidders must meet minimum mandatory requirements and provide references demonstrating experience with similar work. Services are to be provided during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., unless specified otherwise. All bids must be prepared and submitted electronically in the prescribed format, and must include detailed pricing and all required certifications and forms. The contract term is anticipated to be one year, with the option for four one-year extensions. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, based on the criteria and process described in the solicitation package. Additional requirements include compliance with prevailing wage laws, DIR registration, and Section 3 provisions of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, among others. Instructions to bidders specify that all communication must be sent to the designated Procurement Analyst, all questions submitted in writing, and that a mandatory pre-bid meeting may be required. Bidders must ensure truth and accuracy in their submissions, adhere to minimum requirements, and provide all required documentation by the deadlines specified. Failure to comply with any requirement or to submit a complete bid may result in disqualification.
