Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The project involves the widening of northbound Polaris Parkway to three lanes from Gemini Place to approximately 1000 feet south of South Old State Road and widening of southbound Polaris Parkway to three lanes from Antares Avenue to approximately 67 feet west of Antares Avenue. Additionally, eastbound Antares Avenue will be widened to four lanes to include a 210-foot right turn lane at the intersection of Polaris Parkway. The work includes full depth pavement widening, resurfacing in widening areas, curb and gutter, sidewalk, drive reconstructions, new storm sewer, ditches, and culverts, updated lighting, a new signal at the intersection of Polaris Parkway and Antares Avenue, and any other work necessary to complete the contract. Firms must meet all mandatory requirements stated in the Invitation For Bid to be considered. All bid documents and addenda will be available for review and download online. Vendors must register on the Vendor Services portal before doing business and must be contract compliant with the City of Columbus. Questions pertaining to the drawings, plans,specifications, IFB, and/or other contract documents must be submitted in writing to the Department of Public Service, Office of Support Services, by email to capitalprojects@columbus.gov through June 15, 2026. No phone calls will be accepted.
