Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Athens, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The services include preparation of construction contract plans for the State Route 682/Luhrig-Armitage Road intersection improvement in the City of Athens with a project length of approximately 1500 feet. The proposed roadway project is Phase II of the State Route 682 / State Route 56 Intersection Improvement project. It aims to support the safe movement of pedestrians and bikeway users from the newly developed housing area (Kershaw Greene) and connect them to the existing city infrastructure to the east. The project includes the addition of a roundabout at the State Route 682/ Luhrig-Armitage Road intersection, a shared use path extension from development to railroad, new sidewalk, and curb and gutter. Prequalifications to be considered for future agreements are listed below. For all prequalification categories other than FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM EVALUATION the requirements determined for each agreement may be met by the prime consultant or a subconsultant.
