The City of Montebello (“City”) is seeking proposals from fully qualified and experienced contractors, licensed in the State of California, to provide comprehensive environmental remediation, demolition, utility abandonment, grading, hauling, and site clearance services for City-owned properties. The selected Contractor will serve as the City’s project partner, providing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, environmental controls, disposal services, permitting, and related services necessary to complete the work in a safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant manner. The Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating hazardous material abatement, demolition operations, utility disconnections and abandonment, debris hauling and disposal, grading activities, dust control measures, and final site restoration in accordance with all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulations. The Contractor shall also coordinate with all applicable regulatory agencies, maintain required permits and documentation, provide ongoing project reporting, and ensure that all work complies with applicable safety, environmental, and public works standards throughout the duration of the project. The city seeks to form a partnership with a vendor committed to delivering exceptional results while adhering to safety and environmental standards. The City reserves the right to delete any item from the contract. In addition, the City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive information or irregularities to the extent permitted by law in any proposal received, and to be the sole judge of the merits of the respective proposals received.
