The work includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work as set forth in the contract documents for Pedestrian Safety Improvements at six locations within the township. Work quantities include, but are not limited to, approximately 12 units of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, 490 linear feet of concrete vertical curb, 320 square yards of concrete sidewalk, signage, striping, and other incidentals at various locations within the township. The Base Bid includes Pedestrian Safety Improvements at six (6) locations within the Township limits. Quantities include but are not limited to approximately 12 UNITS Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, 490 LF Concrete Vertical Curb, 320 SY Concrete Sidewalk, Signage, Striping, and other incidentals at various locations within the Township Bids must be submitted on the prescribed form, in a sealed envelope marked as specified. A bid deposit in the form of certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the Township of West Windsor in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid total, not to exceed $20,000, must accompany each proposal. This security may be forfeited and retained by the township if the selected bidder fails to execute and return the required contract and/or bonds within ten days after delivery. Specifications, plans, and bid documents are available during specified hours at the Administration Department upon a nonrefundable deposit. Payment methods are cash, physical check, or money order. Mailed checks must include a request for documents along with company and contact information. A FedEx number is required for document shipment. Cash payments must be in the exact amount. The Township Council reserves the right to reject all or part of the proposals or to waive minor informalities as permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with legislative requirements as referenced. Question Deadline 06/09/2026 No oral interpretation shall be made to any Bidder as to the meaning ofany ofthe Contract Documents or be effective to modify any ofthe provisions ofthe Contract Documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be postmarked at least ten (10) days, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, before the established date for Bid Opening.
