Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Yonkers, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.

The work to be done under this contract shall include the wrecking and demolishing of the buildings located on the premises identified in the Description of Work Section 1A, as well as the removal of all material/debris from the site and the regrading of all disturbed areas of the site after the completion of demolition, to the satisfaction of the City Engineer and Commissioner of Housing & Buildings. The regrading of disturbed areas of the site shall include the necessary filling in of holes, cellars and other excavations, as directed by the City Engineer, with clean backfill (1- 1/2" stone) meeting the requirements of NYSDEC, level with adjoining street, sidewalk and property grades, as per Sections 13 and 14 of this item. A. Buildings shall be demolished, removed and disposed of in their entirety including foundations and basement slabs; B. The Contractor shall comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules and regulations governing demolition, the disposal of materials, demolition debris, rubbish and trash as per the requirements of the NYS Department of Labor, and shall commit no trespass on any public or private property in any operation due to or connected with the demolition work performed under the contract.
