The City of Carson (“City”) is soliciting bids from qualified bidders to provide one (1) advanced weapons detection screening system configured as a single pedestrian screening lane consisting of two (2) detection pillars for installation at City Hall. The system shall be designed to support enhanced security screening operations through unobtrusive detection technology while maintaining efficient pedestrian flow and minimizing operational disruptions within a municipal environment. Any future expansion, including additional systems or deployments at other City facilities or events, shall be at the sole discretion of the City. The scope of work includes furnishing, delivery, installation, configuration, training, maintenance, technical support, software, warranty services, and all related services necessary to ensure a fully operational system for the duration of the contract term. The City reserves the right to award one (1) or more contracts, if determined to be in the best interest of the City, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) meeting the requirements of this IFB. The anticipated contract term is five (5) years from the effective date of the executed agreement.
