Sealed bids will be received from qualified bidders by the City of Euclid for a Crosswalk Ramp Improvement Program in the City of Euclid, Ohio. Bidders are required to use the bid forms of Request for Proposal, which are available with the bid specifications. Each bidder is required to furnish a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in accordance with Sections 153.54 and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code, including a bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio. Each proposal must include the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein, evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity, and labels identifying the bid form and insurance bid bond information. Sealed bids must be marked on the front of the envelope with the project name. Contractors and subcontractors are to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor to the extent practicable and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements and prevailing wage rates for public improvements in Cuyahoga County and the City of Euclid. The project locations for this program will be at the following target areas: Target Area 1: Hillcrest Drive and Glenridge Road to the North and East; Pontiac Drive to the South and West. Target Area 2: E. 280th Street to the West; Gilchrist Drive to the North; and Westbrook Drive to the East.
