Sealed bids will be received for Clay County Courthouse Renovations Package #2 in West Point, Mississippi. The project is being procured under two separate bid packages, each with separate scopes of work, specifications, and funding sources. Bid documents are available as original paper copies or electronically, and plan holders must register at www.pryormorrowplans.com to view and order documents. Submissions can be made as sealed or electronic bids through the website. Bid preparation must follow Section 00 21 13 – Instructions to Bidders, included in the Project Manual. Proposals must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of a Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond, amounting to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid. This security will be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to carry out the proposal. Bid Bonds must be payable to the Owner, and no bids may be withdrawn after the closing time for the project. Bids must remain firm for forty-five (45) days after opening. Award is subject to final approval.
