Sealed bids are requested for specified types of crushed stone and limestone sand. Bidders must submit one original and three copies of the sealed bid, either mailed or hand-delivered, with the ITB number and title on the outside envelope. No faxed or electronically submitted bids will be accepted except via the eVA procurement platform, and only with required paper copies delivered by the due date. Late bids will not be considered. All bids become the property of the City and will not be returned. Bids are due by the designated date and time. Evaluation will be based on per ton price for each material type, including a mileage factor if applicable. For “CITY PICKUP,” a mileage factor is calculated and added to the bid price to determine the apparent low bidder. The point of delivery address must be provided in the bid form. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards, conduct any tests deemed necessary, reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and delete items prior to making the award if in the City's best interest. Exceptions to the specifications may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive and rejected.
