The Gateway Center's server and AV rooms in the conference wing require dedicated air conditioning units to maintain proper environmental conditions for sensitive electronic equipment. These systems are essential to ensure reliable performance and prevent hardware failures caused by overheating, particularly with the planned addition of a disaster recovery site in the Gateway server room. The project consists of the supply and installation of server room AC units at the Gateway Convention Center. The City of Collinsville reserves the right to not open a sole bid and to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids and to determine which is the lowest and best bid for the project.
