The City of Haines City is seeking quotes from qualified vendors to complete a full engine replacement for a Tradewinds TP150-T3 portable generator. The generator is currently equipped with a Perkins PJ38418 Diesel Engine, which must be removed and replaced with an identical model or a documented equivalent engine. The work must be a turn-key service, including all necessary and associated components required for full operation, tested with a load-bank test. The City reserves the right to award a subset of the scope of work based on contractor workload, capability, and performance. Proposers must be qualified and licensed to conduct these services and should have significant experience in municipal generator repair services and construction. Vendors are required to provide accurate quotes for the work, verify subcontractor qualifications, oversee execution, ensure quality, provide a turnkey installation, conduct post-installation testing, and provide realistic timelines.
